Cottage is very handy to the Port Arthur Convict site, it is warm and comfortable, staff are helpful. Easy on the budget too.
Kitchen appliances etc are not luxurious, but are plain and do the job - budget not luxury.

It was lovely and quiet and close to Port Arthur site. The heater was on when we arrived so the cottage was warm.

This was the best surprise (in terms of accommodation) during our trip to Tasmania. The cottage is well equipped, spacious and very clean. The location is idyllic, we saw lots of wildlife outside the cottage and it is conveniently located near Port Arthur. The owner, Denis, is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you step in! Merci beaucoup Denis!
Nothing to complain about.

A bit off putting from the outside so pleasantly surprised once inside, clean comfortable and very private. No tv (no loss) stock of board games for families and plenty of reading matter including area history. Bathroom nicely refurbished - basic cooking facilities but ok. Nice native plant garden that could do with a bit of tidying but liked that plants had descriptive information attached to them. Close to Port Arthur and Devil Conservation Park so enjoyed the night - super peaceful and totally relaxing. Recommend for a very different experience away from the usual motel/cabin stuff.
